2015/2016 Striper Mafia Tournament Series
Presented by Captain's Quarters Bait & Tackle, the Striper Mafia is hosting a "CPR" (Catch-Photo-Release) tournament series on Smith Mountain Lake, VA. Events will be held in November, December, March & April during which the "slot" is in place to protect our larger fish, and be conducted in a "Catch-Photo-Release" style. The format will feature an early morning captain's meeting at a location to be defined to review the rules and hand out approved measuring devices & photo token cards and "lines in water" will follow at safe-light as designated for each tournament, with the "check-in" at a time to be determined later that day.
Tournament Dates
Tournament HeadquartersHalesford Harbour Inn will serve as our Tournament Headquarters for the events. The pre-dawn Captains Meetings and the Check-ins / Awards will be held at this location. Participants will be able to use the ramp at Halesford Harbour if needed to launch & recover after the tournament.
Halesford Harbour Inn will also be the official hotel of the Striper Mafia Tournament Series. Tournament Entry FeesTeam Entry Fee (per tournament): $75
Big Fish (optional - per tournament): $25 
Awards ReceptionFishing for prize-winning fish can make you hungry - we know that - and the Striper Mafia always eats good - so join us for food & beverage at the Awards Reception to follow the tournament.

Tournament PayoutsTournament Payouts:
1st - 45% of entry fees + $150 adder 2nd - 20% of entry fees 3rd - 10% of entry fees 4th - 5% of entry fees 10% of entry fees go to a cash raffle prize for non-placing teams at the Awards Ceremony Big Fish: 100% Payout of optional Big Fish entry fee + Big Fish Kicker prize Raffles: Many of our sponsors have graciously provided product and services to be given away during the event. Prizes to be awarded at each event include:
Xtreme Bait Systems is also sponsoring a $250 kicker prize if a team places 1st in an event with an Xtreme Bait Systems tank on their boat. 
Team of the Year SeriesTeams participating in multiple events will compete for the Xtreme Bait Systems Team of the Year honors, with the winning team being awarded a 50 gal Xtreme Bait Systems bait tank.
Team of the Year is determined by the best three event scores, with the top 20 teams in each event being awarded points. | ||
